It is important that you, as the client, understand the investigative process. Below is a brief summary of the process, followed by our privacy policy. If you have any questions, please feel free to Email us. We will respond as quickly as possible.

  1. Initial Client Contact Phase:
This is when you make intitial contact with us, whether by email, phone or just catching us on the street. W
e then contact you as soon as possible, and conduct an over the phone interview. The interview will consist of questions regarding the paranormal situation you are facing, personal history with the paranomal, known property history, the number of people affected by the activity, and any other information we may need. At the end of the phone interview, we will work with you to pencil a rough date for the physical investigation.
  2. Research Phase:
LPI will do research into the property and the area it is located, in an attempt to uncover any relevant history.
When the research is done and we feel we have the information we need, we will contact you and firmly schedule the physical investigation.
  3. The Physical Investigation Phase:
On the day of the physical investigation, We will generally arrive in the early afternoon, although this may vary depending on the most active times of activity. We will request a tour of the property along with fist hand descriptions of the activity that has been witnessed. Then, while our tech crew is setting up equipment and preparing for the investigation, the lead case manager will conduct face to face interviews with any witness that can be there. We strongly encourage as many witness interviews as possible as this strengthens the possibility of a successful investigation. There is also some paperwork that needs to be done at this point. When the interviews are finished, we will begin the invstigation with actively attempting to debunk any activity that we can. This is a crucial part of our investigative process. This is the phase in which we narrow down the focus of our investigation by ruling out anything with a natural cause.
  4. The Dark Time Phase:
Dark Time is the phase in which we actively investigate, attempting to document any activity on camera or with other devices. During dark time, it is important to have as few people in the building as possible to prevent contamination of evidence. Dark time will generally last about 5-8 hours, depending on the size of the property and the level of activity occurring. This phase is called "Dark Time" because it generally takes place in the dark of night. However, this may vary depending on the times that the most activity is reported. If a location is the most active in the middle of the day with very few reports of activity during the night, then it makes the most sense to actively investigate during the day instead of at night.
  5. The Analysis Phase:
During the analysis phase, we will go through and analize all the evidence gathered during the physical investigation and dark time. In order to prevent false positives, we will scrutinize any potential activity looking for probable natural causes. During the analysis phase, it may become necessary to return to the property for experiments attempting to debunk any activity documented during the investigation. Once the anaysis is done, we will contact you and set an appointment to return and sit with you to go over the results of the investigation. You will automatically recieve a copy of any evidence of the paranormal documented during your research and investigation free of charge.
  6. The Followup or Post Investigation Phase:
LPI, above all else, is about helping people. We understand that just because the investigation is over does not mean that all questions have been answered. Because of this, no matter what the outcome of an investigation, LPI commits to an extended post investigation relationship with all of it's clients. We will conduct routine follow up by phone, or in person if possible, as well as making ourselves available to the client for spur of the moment questions or problems regarding any paranormal activity.
